Yoda image[]

You need to place the proper image filename on the page, such as [[:File:Yoda.jpg]]. After that, you should probably put a "thumb" after the image name to make it a thumbnail image. -- SFH 20:36, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

I dont get it for i am new here Jedijake123 21:16, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

If not just put the following in where you want the image (assuming you will use the jpg above):

[[:File:Yoda.jpg|thumb|150px]]

Change the filename to whatever image you do wish to use. Nayayen18pxTransmit 21:40, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Letter[]

Um, yeah. I don't have George Lucas in my address book so unless you know someone who does then I can't be of much help... Nayayen18pxTransmit words at me 20:02, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Dude havent you ever hear of WIKIPEDIA!?! --Jedijake123 00:52, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

  • Yes I have and that made me actually check it and unsurprisingly it wasn't there. I'm sure you'd fare better with Lucasfilm, try there. Nayayen18pxTransmit words at me 22:51, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Oh just type in skywalker ranch and just look until you find something --Jedijake123 21:30, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

You are kidding right? about the letter?

Let me think about that uhhhhhhhhh, NO!!!!!!!!!

lol what makes your ideas so special in comparison to all the other devoted fans?

The fact that I happen to know a web site that can lead you to finding out the address of Skywalker Ranch! --Jedijake123 22:06, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

And that makes you and your ideas special because....? and I highly doubt you are the only person who can find out the adress, assuming you dont just think you can.

Oh yeah, try me! I could use a good challenge! --Jedijake123 22:09, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

Try you with what?, no offence but you overestimate the worth-fullness of your own ideas a little too much.

Try me with a chllenge. oh and no offence taken --Jedijake123 18:45, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

A challenge? like wht?

I dunno you chosse

Well you need to specify what kinda challenge you are wanting to be challlenged with? Writing? Arm wrestling?...

No no no something that can be done right here right now on the computer

Alright, since you clearly think you have some amazing idea for Mr. Lucas to look at why dont you write down a short synopsis of it? assuming its a game or story idea.

You know, this is stupid lets just move on. the letter is my business and i dont want to get into yours or have you take my idea#

lol I can tell you are a kid, people wont steal ure ideas because you need to be able to build them. Ideas are great IF it can work and IF you can make it work. Plus I got plenty of my own ideas both star wars related and not. I'm hardly going to steal yours.

Well then my idea is I am a jedi and I go on a mission with Ahsoka Tano. We fight grevious and he stabs me while trying to kill Ahsoka.

That the idea or is there a story behind it?

That is the idea

Well no offence, but it isnt much of an idea without any story behind it. If your idea is "I am a Jedi and I get stabbed by grievous while he is trying to kill Ahsoka" then its not going to interest anyone, never mind George Lucas or anyone at Skywalker Ranch. Make a story to go with it then it may interest someone, but George Lucas isnt gonna listen to anything that isnt sort of amazing.

You know what im done im not going to write a letter. Good day to you, sir!

Good day to you too :)

Acctually there IS a story behind it --Jedijake123 12:30, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

Took you a while to reply, but go on then? Torem O'de 13:16, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

I want to tell you, but I cant. I dont know which users i can trust, let alone non users --Jedijake123 13:33, 9 April 2009 (UTC)#

No offence but I really wouldn't waste my time taking your ideas since they will get me no where at all.

Then send it via mail or something. I wont steal your ideas as i'm writing a book unrelated to star wars and already have a plot thought up.

  • Well, I haven't been actually looking but I noticed it whilst looking through my copy of The Star Wars Vault and verified it with Google Maps. Mr Lucas lives (vaguely) here:

5858 Lucas Valley Rd Nicasio, CA 94946

As for the BFII 'code' you have been asking for, I do not know what it is you mean and if it is cheat codes or something then you can try elsewhere. Nayayen18px(talk) 21:43, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

    • Every game has a different installation code so mine won't work whatever way you look at it. I recall seeing someone else giving one to you and I assume that hasn't worked so stop asking for it thank you. Nayayen18px(talk) 20:22, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

HK-47 quote on my userpage[]

Hey there, I've just seen the part on my userpage that you edited out. After then being told that you had posted on HK-47's talk page about the quote I just want to say that I only put the quote as a harmless joke. It isn't directed specifically at you, just one of the many uses of the {{USERNAME}} tage that displays the name of a user when they view the page with the tag in. It says the quote as "Nayayen, translate that" when I view it. I didn't mean to cause any misunderstanding with it so it might be seen as a personal attack or any such thing. Thanks, Nayayen18pxTalk 22:44, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

I understand thanks for letting me know. no hard feelings alright? --Jedijake123 00:42, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

KotOR Project[]

Hey Jedijake. There really isn't anything special you need to do to join the project. This is a link to the project page, and here you can sign up and find all of our newest and relevant information. If you have any more questions, let me know. Thanks. Cylka-talk- 00:57, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

  • Well, now you can pick something to do. We have master lists of most of the articles that fall under the project, so you could look through those to see which articles could be fixed up. Many of our articles could use expansion or copy-edits. We also have articles that need updating with new information. You can decide to GA an article. There are many things that can be done, you just have to choose what interests you. Cylka-talk- 04:26, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
  • I'm glad that you are looking for articles to nominate, however Zayne Carrick is already a FA, and as such, he won't be nominated for GA. I also try to go by the Inq/AC guidelines of nominating articles longer than a 1,000 words for FA in stead of GA since I am a member of the AC. If I may make a suggestion, I would also recommend that you look for a topic that is smaller as your first GA or FA. The process can be somewhat grueling the first time around, and it is made much easier if you have a smaller article. Anyway, keep on looking. I'm sure that you'll find something worthwhile. Cylka-talk- 06:15, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
  • Sure, that could be a good article to nominate. Why don't you start looking over the article. The first thing you need to do is to make sure that you have listed every instance in the comics that the Padawan Massacre appeared or was mentioned. After that, make sure that all of the information from the comics has been written into the article. Afterwards, a copy-edit can be done. I'll help you along the way, but the basics need to be started by you. Cylka-talk- 22:08, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
    • OK, this is what you need to check for yourself. Unfortunately, many times you can't always go by what is listed in the article, since there may have been some kind of omissions. If you are confident that all sources and appearances are listed, then you need to go through the article and make sure that all information from those sources and appearances is actually written in the article. The same thing applies here. Just because an appearance or source is listed, doesn't mean that that information was actually added to the article. Once you have done this, I can start helping you with copy-editing an article. GAing or FAing an article can take some time, and some work always needs to be put into it before it can be nominated. Cylka-talk- 22:25, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
  • I actually have a question for you. Do you have access to any of the KotOR media? I mean the games or the comics. If you do, then I would suggest that you pick an article to which you have access to the sources. If you don't, you will have a very difficult, if not impossible, time with this project. Cylka-talk- 22:49, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

Talk pages[]

Then help me, strike everything in my letter section under "oh just type in skywalker ranch and see what you find"

    • Look, it's really quite simple. Make a new subpage at the name I've given you above. Then cut and paste the text you want archived there. Also, don't post on my talk page archives. Post on my user talk page. Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 04:51, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

Re: Project[]

There isn't anything official you need to do to join the project (i.e. being selected), so you can simply sign your name on the page under the "Participants" section. Please note that it is somewhat expected that you try to contribute to the project, and if you plan on working on TCW-related articles (which, as part of the project, is the goal), then you should have access to the corresponding TCW media, whether it's the episodes or any of the comics or books. Also, please note that while I head the project, it's not my project; it's the members that make it up, not me. :) CC7567 (talk) 01:35, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Battle of Gwori[]

Hi Jake; I just noticed your edit of the Battle of Gwori, and I'd like to pass out a few pointers. First, you might want to run your additions through a spell check before posting it; Firefox has an automatic spell check, which can be useful. Also, last names are normally used instead of first names, unless there are two people with the same last name. Hope it helps. CC7567 (talk) 02:17, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

  • You don't need Firefox for a spelling/grammar check; you can simply paste the text into a word-processing program (such as Microsoft Word) and spell check it there. CC7567 (talk) 02:23, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
    • That sounds good. :) CC7567 (talk) 02:33, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
  • Looking at the article's length, it looks like it would adhere to a GA. Once you're ready, you can head over to the GAN page and nominate it. However, no offense, but I would recommend looking over the article and giving it a lot more time and effort. First of all, I believe that it can be expanded much more. Second of all, it doesn't have a proper introduction (summary), and has a few issues in grammar. Also, last names still need to be used instead of first names. If you need help, you can contact me; I don't currently have the time, but I can give it a full review later. CC7567 (talk) 02:42, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
    • In the meantime, you might be able to learn things from the current GAs. :) You can also check out the current FAs as well; one of the only primary differences between FAs and GAs is usually the article length. CC7567 (talk) 02:47, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

Overseer[]

Hi Jake. I noticed that you added Overseer (CIS) to the project page, and that you stated you would be taking it up as a project with help from me. Articles that most likely cannot meet the required length (usually the GA requirement of 250 words) don't necessarily fall under "projects", and usually just require one look to be brought up to standards. It sounds like you mean that it's a "finished project", and finished projects are only those that can be nominated for FA/GA, and no offense, but I do not believe that the Overseer can be nominated for the issue of length. Thank you for contributing, though. :) CC7567 (talk) 00:39, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

One month already[]

Hello to all the members of WookieeProject: The Clone Wars! Considering the project has just been launched, we've had a great first month, taking three articles to FA status and five articles to GA status. I would like to remind you to please try to do whatever you can to help out; there are still many potential articles that can be taken up as projects, and many of you are already working very hard on them. In the next month, we have a goal to double (if not multiply even more) our current FAs and GAs, because once Season Two starts airing, there will be a ton of more articles that will require attention, and it's best if we get as many as we can out of the way now. Thank you for contributing! Your project head, CC7567 (talk) 20:21, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

Battle of Gwori[]

Hi Jake, I've been noticing your diligent work on the Battle of Gwori, and it's looking much better. If you plan on eventually putting it up for a GAN, let me know when you're done so that I can give you a few pointers. I'll review it on the GAN page as well, if you plan to try and take it to a GA. :) CC7567 (talk) 22:09, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

  • Okay, here we go:
    • The intro needs to be expanded. Particpants? Situation? Outcome?
    • Last names need to be used consistently throughout the article; at least in the prelude, first names are being used.
    • There's a lot of underlinking throughout the article. All appropriate subjects need to be linked the first time they are mentioned, but no more.
    • The prelude overall is very colloquial. Please see if you can smooth out the sentences.
    • There's context needed for most characters the first time they are mentioned.
    • The Bts needs to state where the battle appeared, but please do not mention Pearl Harbor unless it was specifically noted as being a reference to it; otherwise, it's original research.
    • Juhm needs to be mentioned much earlier rather than in the aftermath. Also, his death shouldn't be in the infobox unless it was directly part of the battle.
    • It looks like the article itself can still be expanded, and I would also recommend checking grammar throughout the article, possibly by copying the article into Microsoft Word (if you have it) or another word processing program with a spell/grammar check, and checking the article. CC7567 (talk) 22:33, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Edit in Chi Cho[]

Hey, I noticed your edit in Chi Cho. Though, it has been reverted because Im about to make a change in the behind the scenes section. Sorry :) JangFett Talk 22:22, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

  • It's no problem. Also watch out for the {{inuse}} tags. If I attempt to edit the page and if you edit and save before I do, all my work that I intended to save will be lost.JangFett Talk 22:38, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
    • Sure, you can list your requests for Chi Cho or the battle in my talk page :) JangFett Talk 23:09, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
      • What is it then? JangFett Talk 23:41, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
        • Yes, I do have Battlefront II, but I don't wish to discuss cheat codes/serial here, if that is what you are referring to as "codes". You can google them. JangFett Talk 00:00, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
          • It depends on what version of the game you have. For PC, you need a serial number and if you lost it, Im sure you can find one on google. I have Battlefront II for PS2 - No serial required. JangFett Talk 00:09, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
            • Here, I do believe that my PC version of Battlefront I will work - c83f-bb0-e05-57ff-eu20 JangFett Talk 00:18, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

TCW Check-in[]

So that our project doesn't end up like that cruiser.
Hey Jedijake123! This is your monthly check-in from your project head of WookieeProject The Clone Wars. Our Featured Articles haven't seen any additions as of yet, but our Good Articles are steadily growing. I'd like to remind you to check the current projects listing when you have the chance. If you still have the intent on working on any projects (specifically within the next two or three weeks) that you've reserved there, then it's fine. If you no longer have the intent to work on your project(s), please update it so that others have the chance to work on items there. Thanks again! Your project head, CC7567 (talk) 00:38, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

WP:TCW again[]

Hey Jedijake123. As project head for WP:TCW, I'm trying to get a better idea of who's still interested in participating in our project. If you're still interested in participating, please leave a note on my talk page or contact me in IRC. If you do not respond within a week, I will assume that you are no longer interested in participating. That doesn't mean that your name will be removed from the "Participants" list, but it means that any of your current projects will be removed from the project page so that others have a chance to work on them. Likewise, if you currently have any projects under your belt, I highly encourage you to review them, and if you don't plan on working on them within the next two or three weeks, I recommend reconsidering them. Thanks. Your project head, CC7567 (talk) 05:49, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Battle of Gwori[]

Are you still planning to bring the Battle of Gwori to Good or Featured Status. If not I'll take over the project. If you need help ask me and possibly we can nominate the article together. --Clone Commander Lee Talk 14:18, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

  • With all respect look at the other clone wars GAS, there is major work, but I'm happy to hepl you. --Clone Commander Lee Talk 09:12, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
    • If I may butt in, this article needs severe expansion, a thorough copy-edit, and more broader in detail. Linking is a problem, as well as grammatical issues I saw last night. I'll be happy to give it a proper copyedit, however, you must take a look at different TCW comic battles such as Rishi, Kothlis, and Nexus Ortai; to get a better sense of what is expected out of an comic-related battle. JangFett Talk 14:15, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
      • Jake, if you have time, please login to IRC channel #WP:TCW. JangFett Talk 19:11, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
        • It is free Jake. Go to Wikia's IRC gateway and find channel #WP:TCW. Type in your name and you can login. JangFett Talk 19:22, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
          • I will be discussing about your Growi project on IRC. It's much more convenient than to spam messages here. JangFett Talk 19:27, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
          • For this, you may begin to add information in and I'll give the article a proper copy-edit, once you're done. Anytime, I will be filling in some missing information that you might have not added in. JangFett Talk 20:46, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

WP:TCW[]

right|120px Hello everyone, this is CC7567 from WookieeProject The Clone Wars. It is currently six months after the project was started, and the number of individual projects is steadily growing. While I am happy that so many of you are writing for the WookieeProject, the majority of articles there have been sitting there for months. Several users even have ten projects or more at the moment, and I am frankly just disappointed at the level of inactivity that is befalling our articles. I understand that many of you have other obligations, and while I respect that, the responsibility falls to you to judge whether or not you're still capable of writing all of these articles, whether in time or in energy. For this reason, I once again urge you to reconsider your current projects. The criteria should be that you have the unrelenting intent to finish all of your projects within the next month. I myself have had to reconsider my own projects on account of real-life time constraints. I do not want to have to set a limit to the number of projects per user, but if it comes down to that, I will, because I do not want to see the project deteriorate and hope that you do not want to either. Thank you. CC7567 (talk) 19:20, October 31, 2009 (UTC)
