10-4TO was a rogue TO-series protocol droid, also known as “Bug-Eyes”, whose databank was rumored to contain vital plans for the Whiplash resistance against the Galactic Empire. It was the objective of crime lord Prince Xizor’s final mission on the path to becoming a Black Sun Vigo, at some point in the years following the Clone Wars. In reality, the mission was a set-up to have Xizor assassinated. The attempt ultimately failed, and Xizor enlisted the droid’s help to capture first Kaird, the would-be assassin, and then Jedi Jax Pavan and his companions, deep within Coruscant’s factory district.

Control of 10-4TO could be assumed by issuing a verbal command, a system Xizor and Pavan both made use of during the ensuing melee. The droid was also capable of delivering powerful stunning blasts to organic creatures. Ultimately, there was no data stored within the droid—it was in reality part of a ploy by Sith Lord Darth Vader to capture Pavan.
