- Imperial warlords unite under the Imperial Ruling Council.
- The New Republic is driven off Coruscant.
- Emperor Palpatine returns in a clone body and takes control of the new galactic dominating Reborn Empire.
- Amidst the chaos, neutral worlds form protective federations such as the Dawferim Selfhood States and Botor Enclave. Lianna institutes home rule.
- Luke Skywalker pledges himself to the reborn Palpatine, but is soon turned back by Leia Organa, and they destroy Palpatine and all but one of his clones.
- Leia Organa Solo takes the Tedryn Holocron from the resurrected Palpatine.
