- Byss is destroyed by the last projectile of the Galaxy Gun, in which the Galaxy Gun was hoped to destroy the Eclipse II, only for the vessel to collide into the Galaxy Gun, destroying it, as well as the Eclipse II.[1]
- Palpatine, in his last clone body, attempts to transfer his spirit into the infant Anakin Solo, but is shot by Han Solo and is gone forever.[1]
- The Order of the Sith Lords is destroyed, but many other Sith organizations remain, such as Lumiya's Sith.
- The New Republic retakes Coruscant, thus reclaiming authority of the Galaxy.
- Fragmentation of the Galactic Empire with the second loss of Coruscant, results in the rebirth of the Imperial Remnant.
- New Alderaan is liberated from the Empire by the New Republic, for a second time.
- Luke Skywalker establishes a Jedi Praxeum on Yavin 4 and declares himself a Jedi Master.[3]
- The New Jedi Order is created with Yavin 4 as the center.
- The Jedi Headquarters is constructed on Coruscant, over the ruins of the Jedi Temple.[3]
- Destruction of the Cauldron Nebula[3] and the Carida System[4] by Kyp Durron in the Sun Crusher.
- New Republic Presidential election; Leia Organa Solo replaces Mon Mothma as Chief of State.
- One of the Death Star prototypes is destroyed by Kyp Durron.
- Corran Horn attends Luke Skywalker's Jedi academy to learn the ways of the force in order to save his wife, Mirax Terrik.
- Exar Kun's spirit destroyes the Tedryn Holocron in the Jedi Praxeum.
- The final destruction of Exar Kun.
