- Ossus was terraformed to its original terrain by the Shaper caste of the Yuuzhan Vong.[5]
- The Ossus Project was initiated by the New Jedi Order to restore worlds devastated by the Yuuzhan Vong War, in which the Shaper caste of the Yuuzhan Vong attempted to restore their original terrains.[5]
