The 27th Denarian Fleet was a segment of the Republic Navy bolstered by the massive military expansion of the Clone Wars.

HistoryEdit

When the remnants of the Republic's military transitioned into the Imperial military machine, the 27th Denarian was one of the earliest to undergo personnel changes and technological upgrades. As new Imperial-class Star Destroyers were commissioned, Emperor Palpatine authorized the sale of 520 Victory-class Star Destroyers to alleviate resources and raise funds for the burgeoning Imperial Starfleet.

Stripped of sensitive technology and weaponry, the ships were put up for auction to the highest bidder. The Victory-class starships were bought by the Corporate Sector Authority, modified and put to use by their Security Division as lead warships.
