- Han Solo encounters yet another bounty hunter during a mission to Ord Mantell.
- Scientists rescued from Ralltiir build a planetary shield on Hoth.
- The Rebel base on Hoth is invaded and destroyed by Imperial forces.
- Boba Fett collects Jabba the Hutt's bounty on Han Solo after delivering Solo encased in carbonite.
- Luke Skywalker begins training under Yoda on Dagobah, but ends it to rescue his friends, and loses a duel with Darth Vader on Bespin, but promises he will return.
- The Empire annexes Cloud City, along with the rest of Bespin.
- On the Rebel rendezvous point, Luke, Lando, Chewbacca, Leia, C-3PO and R2-D2 begin their year long quest to save Han Solo from being held frozen in Carbonite in Jabba's Palace, by Jabba the Hutt on Tatooine.
- The Rebels settle on the tempoary base of Golrath Station on Golrath, but several months later, are driven off by the Empire, due to its demolition from the Imperials.
- After evacuating Golrath Station on Golrath, Haven Base on Arbra succeeds Echo Base on Hoth as the command centre of the Rebel Alliance.
- Gaeriel Captison spends the year on Imperial Center doing postgraduate work on government.
- Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa restore Prince Denid to the throne of Velmor.
- Black Sun begins to collapse.
- The Empire brings an end to the Sepan Civil War.
- The planet of Taris finally recovers from the Jedi Civil War.
- The Pimbrellan League is founded.
- Rascal Squadron destroys the Imperial Arah mining facility
- The Star Dreadnought Terror is destroyed along with the TIE Phantom project at Imdaar Alpha by Rebel operatives.
- The Abridon refugee camp is Razed
- Luke Skywalker is captured by Brenn Tantor on Abridon
- Brenn Tantor Defects to the Rebel Alliance
- The last surviving remnant of the Separatist holdouts is destroyed on Geonosis.[1]
