The 442nd Siege Battalion was a unit of clone troopers within the Grand Army of the Republic.
History
As their name implied, the 442nd were skilled in besieging enemy fortifications. They were equipped with AT-RT walkers and ISP speeders with green markings.[1]
During the Clone Wars, they were sent to aid in the capture of Cato Neimoidia, a key Trade Federation stronghold.[1]
Behind the scenes
Hasbro released a saga collection figure of a 442nd Siege Battalion clone trooper as a follow-up to the 442nd Siege Battalion trooper featured in the three-pack of clone troopers in action poses released earlier in the year
Lego also released their variation of a 442nd Siege Battalion Trooper in their 2005 7260 Wookiee Catamaran from their Revenge of the Sith Line. In this set two of these troopers are included. Lego also released the same trooper in 2006 as a magnet, part of the 4269244 Yoda Magnet Set.
