455 Tinegris Street was Governor Barkale's home away from home on Kintoni. He stored his vast personal fortune, consisting of cash and rare artwork worth billions of Imperial credits, much of which had been embezzled from the sector treasury.

Barkale was able to keep his safehouse secret from the occupying New Republic forces commanded by Crix Madine. When he was freed by Mara Jade, he brought her to this building, where she revealed that she had been investigating him for misappropriating sector funds and executed him with her blaster. She subsequently revealed the location to Madine, who claimed Barkale's ill-gotten fortune for the Alliance.
