519 before the Battle of Yavin (BBY) was a year in the chronological period known as the Great Peace of the Republic. During this period, widespread galactic settlement commenced into yet-unexplored regions and the charting of the Deep Core began. This year saw the mass migration of the Kallidahin to the asteroid Polis Massa, where they had already been operating, to discover their possible connections with the extinct Eellayin natives.

Notes and references
Edit
- ↑ The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia refers to the Great Peace of the Republic as lasting from the Battle of Ruusan to the First Battle of Geonosis. The Essential Atlas supplies the dates 1,000 BBY and 22 BBY to the aforementioned events, thus making this year fitting into the period.
- ↑ The Essential Atlas states that the Great Hyperspace War began in 5,000 BBY. Star Wars: The Old Republic's Galactic Timeline] supplies the alternative date (in the BTC/ATC year notation system) of 1,347 BTC, so the difference between the two calendars is 3,653 years. This date is derived from other confirmed dates using simple math.
- ↑ The New Essential Chronology states that the Ruusan Reformation occurred in 1,000 BBY, which is the zero point of the calendar based on the Ruusan Reformation, so the difference between the calendar based on the Battle of Yavin and the Ruusan Reformation's year-notation system is 1,000 years. This date is derived using simple math based upon other confirmed dates.
- ↑ The Essential Atlas states that the Battle of Yavin occurred in year 35, which is the zero point of the BBY/ABY year-notation system, so the difference between the calendar based on the Battle of Yavin and the Great ReSynchronization's year-notation system is thirty-five years. This date is derived from simple math based upon other confirmed dates.
