Battle droid 685 was a B1 battle droid used by Confederacy of Independent Systems, which was stationed on a base on a frozen planet Orto Plutonia.

HistoryEdit

The activity of the CIS droids provoked the planet's native Talz to attack them, wiping out the entire base with nothing but bare hands and spears. 685 was one of the last droids standing; he requested assistance before being ultimately smashed by a Talz warrior. When Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker came to investigate the base on the assumption that Separatists were involved in a recent slaughter of clone troops at the nearby Glid Station, they found a holorecord of 685's last moments detailing what became of the droid.
