The BlasTech A295 blaster rifle was the Rebel soldier's main combat rifle at Echo Base. This was the ideal weapon for the ragtag soldiers and mercenaries that used them.[1]
The A295 blaster rifle was first used against the Empire when General Rahm Kota's militia used them to push back and eventually take over a TIE construction facility. From then on it was the Rebellion's weapon of choice.[source?]
