The AAD-4 assault droid was a large, hulking, humanoid battle droid developed by Arakyd Industries during the final years of the Galactic Republic. These droids were used as a form of corporate security force and, on one occasion, sixty of these machines were sent to the planet Vulpter to halt the production of XPLR-R exploration droids by Viper Sensor Intelligence Systems.
