Aar was a planet[3] in the Aar system of the Nijune sector[2], part of the Outer Rim Territories. Its galactic coordinates were N-5.[1] It was homeworld to the Aar'aa species, reptilian sentients often employed as enforcers by the Hutts, a species known for its many crime lords.[3] The planet was discovered by the galactic community sometime between 5,000 and 1,000 BBY. Aar was situated in the Confederacy of Independent Systems' space during the Clone Wars, and later within the territories of Thrawn's Empire and Roan Fel's Empire-in-exile.[1]
