- "I once belonged to an expert in butterflies, and the Aargauuns have assembled the most remarkable collection!"
The Aargauuns were a group to which the female Jedi Knight Talia Moonseeker belonged that originated from the planet of Aargau.[source?] Around 22 BBY, shortly before the outbreak of the Clone Wars, Moonseeker reached the rank of Jedi Knight after training under Jedi Master Va'too. Four months after her promotion, Moonseeker fought in the First Battle of Geonosis, during which her former Master was killed, while the Aargauun survived; the outcome compelled Moonseeker to hang her head in shame. The Aargauun population size on their homeworld paled in comparison to the Humans—84% of its 4.8 billion population circa 3 ABY.
Behind the scenesEdit
In The Clone Wars: Wild Space by Karen Miller, Talia Moonseeker's species name was misspelled as "Argauun." Miller confirmed the mistake and that she was referencing the obscure species, not creating a new one.
