Prior to the rise of the Galactic Empire, an abandoned castle sat north of Theed, the capital city of the planet Naboo. During the Clone Wars the castle was occupied by a reclusive artist who obsessed over painting suns and moons. He later became fixated by the thought of Senator Padmé Amidala, and the castle was filled with his paintings of her.
