Aber was the primary star of the Abron system. The star was a red dwarf and primarily emitted energy in the infrared spectrum. It was orbited by the planet Alpheridies, home planet of the Near-Human Miraluka. Because of the infrared light, the Miraluka were unable to see naturally. They could, however, "see" their surroundings through the Force.
