Absit was the homeworld of the Yatir race of humanoids, located in the Absit system.

Discovered circa 1,000 BBY Absit was a minor world located on the western side of the galactic plane. While remaining neutral throughout the reign of the Galactic Republic^[2], it wasn't until it was conquered by the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War.
