Accuser was a modified Class 720 freighter owned by the Tiss'shar bounty hunter and assassin Kal-tan-shi. He acquired it from one of his targets in the Lesser Plooriod Cluster. It was modified by his former employers, House Paramexor, but he left their employ to pursue a solo career before the modifications were completed.

Kal-tan-shi himself was not a skilled mechanic, so he tried avoid damaging his ship while pursuing his prey, and did not finish the modifications himself. Though he earned enough credits bringing Rebel fugitives to the Imperial authorities to afford to pay someone else to modify Accuser, it was believed he never found the time to do so.
