Adim was a planet in the Adari sector known for manufacturing and mining; the planet supplied the galaxy with several key resources.
History

Discovered circa 25,000 BBY, Adim was a member of the Galactic Republic since its early ages. Located nears the highly contested Perlemian Trade Route, the planet sat on the cusp of galactic warfare during the early centuries of the Republic.[1]
Remaining loyal to the Republic through the Clone Wars, the system bought neutrality during the Galactic Civil War by supplying the Galactic Empire with extensive resources. Remaining neutral in most galactic affairs, the planet was invaded by pirates during the Civil War, with many miners being robbed or murdered.The miners hired mercenaries for protection, but the pirates hired Andov Syn, whom singlehandedly wiped out the mercenaries.
The planet was annexed by Grand Admiral Thrawn during his campaigns againstthe New Republic. When the Imperial Remnant was finally driven from the core, Adim joined the Republic, only to be cut off with the invasion by the Yuuzhan Vong in 26 ABY. When the Republic retook Coruscant and reorganized into the Galactic Alliance, Adim quickly joined. Remaining neutral in future wars, it was a member of Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire as of 137 ABY.[1]
