Adoris was a planet located in the Western Reaches of the Outer Rim Territories. Part of the Senex sector's Adoris system, the world was home to the Adoris feline.

HistoryEdit

Discovered circa 3,000 BBY with the blazing of the Hydian Way, Adoris was conquered by disgruntled Galactic Republic nobles soon after the end of the New Sith Wars. Goverened by House Taneel, the planet remained cut off from the Republic until 553 BBY when they were forced to upgrade their technology. Adoris was represented in the Galactic Senate as part of the Senex sector's delegation, after the Houses of the sector were forced to come to terms with the galactic body. During the Clone Wars, Adoris remained loyal to the Republic under the leadership of Senator Terr Taneel, a Loyalist to Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, though they continued to fight against the Republic's Rights of Sentience laws.^[1]

As a member of the Galactic Empire the slavery talks began to fall by the wayside as the planet weathered Imperial rule. Remaining neutral during the wars that tore apart the galaxy after Emperor Palaptine's death, the planet rebuffed all contact with the New Republic, though the Houses offered assistance to refugees of the Yuuzhan Vong War. As of 137 ABY the sector was included in Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire.^[1]
