Aefao was the Aefan homeworld, located in the Aefao system. A remote planet, it was on the other side of the galaxy from Nar Shaddaa.

HistoryEdit

Discovered between 5,000 and 1,000 BBY by the Galactic Republic, Aefao was a remote world on the fringe of galactic civilization as of the Jedi Civil War. Located near the areas of space controlled by the Sith Empire, it remained apart of Sith Space until the defeat of the Brotherhood of Darkness during the New Sith Wars.^[1]

At the start of the Clone Wars, Aefao quickly seceded from the Republic, joining the Confederacy of Independent Systems. At the end of the war, the planet was pardoned by the newly formed Galactic Empire, remaining with the Empire, even after its defeat in the Galactic Civil War. Annexed as part of Oversector Outer, Aefao aligned with Warlord Zsinj's empire and later Grand admiral Thrawn. As of 11 ABY Aefao remained within the Remnant's space, but was ripped apart by the Yuuzhan Vong War. As of 137 ABY, Aefao remained loyal to the Fel Empire-in-Exile.
