Affavan was a planet located in the Affavan system of Hutt Space. It was seedy and smoggy, and renowned for its gambling. It was frequented by Hutt servant species, along with t'landa Til, Shell Hutts, and H'uun.[2]

Located along the Hollastin Run, Affavan was discovered by the Galactic Republic between the Kymoodon Era and the Rianitus Period. By the time of the Great Hyperspace War, Affavan was part of Hutt Space, and the Hutts quickly polluted the world and covered it in casinos. When the Hutts tired of the world, they left it for their slaves to populate and visit.[2]
