Affytechans were a species of tall, bipedal sentient plants native to Dom-Bradden, on the Outer Rim of the galaxy.
Biology and appearance
Each Affytechan had a unique growth of leaves, petals, tassels, and tendrils. Although beautiful to the Human eye, they stank to the Human nostril. Affytechans had a normal body temperature of 83 degrees.
History
A number of Affytechans were abducted to the Eye of Palpatine and mindwashed into believing themselves Imperial naval crewmen of the vessel, consulting blank computer screens and carrying brooms and mops as blasters. These included Breen, who believed himself an Imperial medic and was recruited by Luke Skywalker to locate transports off the Eye.
