The Agao Ranges were a chain of dormant volcanoes on Bassadro. The mountainsides and nearby foothills were formed of obsidian from the long dormant volcanoes' previous eruptions. The slippery obsidian, steep angles and sharp shards made passage through the range difficult and dangerous.

They were the site of the Battle of Bassadro during the Clone Wars.
