Agora was a planet in the Agora system that was located within Sluis sector of the Outer Rim of the galaxy.
History

Discovered between the Subterra Period and 1,000 BBY, Agora joined the Galactic Republic as a member of the Sluis sector after the defeat of the Brotherhood of Darkness. Remaining loyal to the Republic for centuries, the Sluis sector quickly allied with the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. Not wishing to lose the territory, the Freedom's Sons, led by Zozridor Slayke attempted to hold the planet, yet it fell to forces of the Separatists about the same time as the Battle of Cerea.[1]
At the end of the war, the newly formed Galactic Empire pardoned many Separatist-aligned worlds, including those in the Sluis sector. With much of the Sluis sector joining the Eriadu Authority during the conflicts with the Nagai in 4 ABY, the planet fell to the New Republic when it took Sluis Van a year later. Escaping the atrocities of the Yuuzhan Vong War and seeing little of the battles of the Second Galactic Civil War, Agora would remain loyal to the Galactic Alliance Remnant after the Sith-Imperial War drove it from the Core.[1]
