Ai-Ari Kuldi was a Jedi who served the Galactic Republic during the time of the Clone Wars, becoming the commander of the Fifth Fleet. During the conflict, the Cularin system seceded from the Republic, and Kuldi commented on the subsequent withdrawal of Republic forces from the system.

Behind the scenes

Ai-Ari Kuldi was created by August and Cynthia Hahn, and was mentioned in Cularin Emergency Announcement, an article published on Wizards.com in December 2005. The article mentioned that Kuldi commanded a unit known as the Fifth Fleet, but did not clarify whether that fleet was the Fifth Fleet of the Open Circle Fleet, a Republic naval force that was referenced in the book Revenge of the Sith: Incredible Cross-Sections. The article also did not reveal Kuldi's gender or species.
