Aida was the primary planet in the Aida system, near Lomabu III on the Mid Rim.

Discovered during the Great Manifest Period, Aida did not join the Galactic Republic until after the defeat of the [[Brotherhood of Darkness] during the New Sith Wars. Remaining loyal to the Republic and later the Galactic Empire, the world would be overseen by Imperial Governor Io Desnand during the Galactic Civil War. A sparsely-populated world, Aida was loyal to the Galactic Empire. When the Wookiee Chenlambec arrived on Aida requesting help from his fellow Wookiees to trap the bounty hunter Bossk, they quickly assisted in leading him to the Lomabu system.[1]
Aligning with the New Republic at the fall of the Empire, Aida was able to avoid the conflicts of the Imperial Civil War and the Thrawn campaign. Unfortunately the peace was not to last as the horrors of the Yuuzhan Vong War was unleashed in the sector. As of 137 ABY, Aida was in space controlled by Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire.[1]
