Aikhibba was a Mid Rim planet in the Aikhibba system; a minor stopping point off the Gamor Run.

History

Discovered by the Galactic Republic during the Great Manifest Period, it was a neutral planet during the New Sith Wars, contested by both the Republic and the Brotherhood of Darkness until the latter defeat at the Seventh Battle of Ruusan. Loyal to the Republic for the next several centuries, Aikhibba joined the Galactic Empire at its rise with little to no change on world.^[1]

Ruled by Spadda the Hutt during the Galactic Civil War, the crime lord remained out of the Imperial eye for the rest of its reign. The smuggler Lo Khan once delivered a cargo of spice to Spadda from the royal governor of the Thokosia system. The world remained under Spadda's control until the Yuuzhan Vong War claimed the worlds along the Gamor Run. Whether it recovered or not is unknown, though the sector in which it was located was under the authority of Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire as of 137 ABY.^[1]
