The Akk Guards were Kar Vastor's elite Upland Liberation Front warriors during the Summertime War on Haruun Kal.

Vastor personally trained these Korunnai, making them as animalistic as the akk dogs they were bonded to and teaching them how to use their signature weapon, their sharp-cutting vibroshields. In addition to the akk dogs, the Guards were bonded to Vastor and each other. Vastor taught the Guards a deeper understanding and control of pelekotan than most Korunnai had. The Guards and Vastor used instinct, anger, and aggression. In a way, they were a dark mirror of the Jedi, even with their weapons, as observed by Jedi Master Mace Windu during his mission to Haruun Kal.
HistoryEdit
When Master Windu was on Haruun Kal to find Depa Billaba, he found that she had joined Vastor and his guards. In the battle of Pelek Baw they put in danger to the capital city of Pelek Baw, but with the help of Nick Rostu, Windu was able to defeat them.
Of the twelve, three were named Prouk, Thaffal, and Iolu.
