Albecus was a planet in the Galactic Core friendly to the Jedi Order during the last years of the Galactic Republic. It was situated close to the world Ralltiir.

HistoryEdit

Discovered during the very early stages of the Galactic Republic's existence, the world remained within its fold until its dissolution at the end of the Clone Wars. Pledging allegiance to the Galactic Empire, the planet saw the establishment of a Rebel Alliance safe-house after the Battle of Yavin. The criminal Kikow tried and failed to set up an underworld empire on Albecus during the Galactic Civil War. Taken by the New Republic after the surviving Imperials were driven from the Core, the planet was cut off from the rest of the galaxy during the Yuuzhan Vong War. Joining the Galactic Alliance after the war ended, it rebuilt its infrastructure over the next century; as of 137 ABY it was a member of Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire.^[1]
