Alderaan Biotics was an Alderaan-based hydroponics company. Their Borleias satellite facility, abandoned after the destruction of Alderaan, was eventually reactivated by Evir Derricote and the forces of Ysanne Isard prior to the Bacta War, though Rogue Squadron would soon recapture the facility. Through the Borleias facility, Alderaan Biotics would go on to become a large manufacturer of rylca.
