The Alderaan Expatriate Network (AEN) was a news network setup by Alderaanian expatriates in the wake of the destruction of their homeworld. The purpose of the network was to spread the truth about the Galactic Empire's attack on their homeworld.
The network was openly sympathetic to the Rebellion, and forwarded any material they could get hold on—including holotapes of the destruction of Alderaan, recorded by a satellite orbiting Delaya to other Rebel-affiliated news networks.
