Alderaanian flying hotels were huge atmospheric airships that were used as nomadic hotels on the planet Alderaan before its destruction by the Galactic Empire in 0 BBY.

CharacteristicsEdit

Flying hotels were equipped with inflatable air bladders and translucent sheets of flexible film. They would fly at random over the grassy surface of Alderaan, without a destination or a schedule. These transports were designed for strained tourists, who could stare out across the untouched landscape of Alderaan and forget their responsibilities for a time.
