The Alderaanian relaxa-bed was a bed fitted with massage circuits and sleep-inducing harmonics. It enabled a person to experience the equivalent of a full night's rest in a few hours. Supreme Chancellor Palpatine had a relaxa-bed in his bedroom in the Chancellor's Suite.
