HistoryEdit

Discovered by the Galactic Republic during the Great Manifest Period, Aldereen's insectoid populace favored the Republic, remaining loyal through many galactic wars. Joining the Galactic Empire upon its formation, the planet aligned with the New Republic as the Empire was driven from the Core.^[1]

During the wedding of Princess Leia Organa and General Han Solo in 8 ABY, Luke Skywalker was forced to travel by shuttle to the Aldereenian consulate in order to arrive early at the wedding.

By 137 ABY as a member of the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances, Aldereen was under control of Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire.^[1]
