History

Discovered at the birth of the Galactic Republic, the world became one of the first members of the democracy that would stretch across both time and space over the next several millennia. Remaining loyal throughout the lifespan of the Republic, Aldraig joined the Galactic Empire at its rise in 19 BBY.[1]
During the rule of the Empire, the planet was controlled by Governor Talloryn, who destroyed large amounts of forested land to erect an AT-AT production line for the Imperial Army. Liberated from the Empire by the New Republic as early as 4 ABY, the planet would remain with the Republic throughout the next few decades, suffering along with the rest of the galaxy during the Yuuzhan Vong War. Joining the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances at the close of the Yuuzhan Vong threat, the world was aligned with Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire as of 137 ABY.[1]
