Aleco Stusea

Aleco Stusea was a near-Human female Jedi Master and head of the Dantooine Enclave Council^[1] during the time of the Great Hunt. She was one of the four Masters who sent the three Jedi Knights Duron Qel-Droma, Shaela Nuur, and Guun Han Saresh on a fatal mission to Korriban at the end of the Great Hunt.^[2]

Unlike her fellow Masters Bala Nisi and Vrook Lamar, Master Stusea agreed with Master Qual that the Council should trust in the Jedi High Council's decision to send only a small party of hunters to Korriban. She believed that together the three Knights could resist the temptations of the dark side while on the planet.^[2]

It is believed that she perished in the earlier conflicts of the Jedi Civil War.^[3]

Aleco appears to be of the same species as Fay and Princess Lourdes. All these individuals appear to be Human, but with pointy ears. Leland Chee, on the Star Wars Message Boards, stated that his theory is that "all pointy-eared species are either Sephi or closely related to Sephi."^[4]

Although she was only named as Aleco in Shadows and Light, Joshua Ortega, author of the comic, gave her full name in a post on the Dark Horse Comics message boards.^[1]
