BiographyEdit

McCrindle (August 3, 1911–April 20, 1990) was a Scottish actor that began his career playing minor roles on many late 1930s British mystery/drama television programs. Without making any noted appearances throughout the '40s, he picked back up by playing a small part in a film called The House in the Square, followed by several diminutive (and sometimes uncredited) acting jobs on TV all the way through the '70s until his career's most famous role in 1977 as General Dodonna in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
