Alfestril was a planet located in the Alfestril system of the Inner Rim Territories.

HistoryEdit

Discovered by the Galactic Republic as early as 25,000 BBY, the planet remained loyal to the galactic government until the birth of the Galactic Empire. During the Galactic Civil War, Imperial Captain Nevik suspected that Rebel Alliance undercover agents were working in the Alfestril system. In the weeks prior to the Battle of Hoth his crew aboard the Devastator had discovered this information in a coded transmission between Central Commander Sollaine of the Imperial Security Bureau and Darth Vader. Although Nevik attempted to investigate, Commander Sollaine executed the captain when he refused an order to travel to Corulag.^[1]

With the destruction of the Empire's command structure, the world eventually fell to the New Republic, and after the devastating Yuuzhan Vong War, Alfestril joined the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances. As of 137 ABY, the world was controlled by Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire.^[1]
