Shortly after the Battle of Yavin, the base had to be evacuated. During the evacuation, Zev Senesca single-handedly held off three TIE/LN starfighters, while the base's unarmed transport fled into hyperspace. Senesca's heroics earned him a spot in the newly founded Rogue Squadron.[2]
