The Alliance High Command, also known as High Command, Alliance Command or simply Rebel Command, was the leadership council of the Alliance to Restore the Republic.[3][4] It was headed by Chancellor Mon Mothma and also included General Jan Dodonna and Admiral Gial Ackbar.[1] Soldiers in the field complained that it attempted to manage the Rebellion as a government, and not a military resistance.[5]
