Alliga was a planet located in the Outer Rim Territories' Phelleem sector. It was the homeworld of the Holwuff species.

HistoryEdit

Discovered by the Galactic Republic sometime between the Kymoodon Era and the Rianatus Period, the planet joined the galactic civilization. As the Hutt Empire encroached into the sector, the world aligned with the Sith Empire under the leadership of Darth Revan and Darth Malak. After the defeat of the two Sith, the planet realigned with the Republic, though it was on the border of Sith Space until the defeat of the Brotherhood of Darkness at the conclusion of the New Sith Wars.^[1]

Having remained in the Republic for the next millennia, the world, along with the entire sector, was represented in the Galactic Senate by Senator Rogwa Wodrata. As the Separatist Crisis began to threaten galactic unity, Senator Wodrata pledged loyalty to the Confederacy of Independent Systems at Geonosis, days before the outbreak of the Clone Wars. A member of the Separatist Council, Wodrata allowed General Grievous' droid army to use Alliga as a staging area for the Outer Rim Sieges. Shortly before the Siege of Saleucami, Alliga was host to the Separatist Council as they plotted their war games. When the Confederacy was defeated and the Council executed on Mustafar, the world was turned over to the Galactic Empire.^[1]

Under the Empire, the world was able to survive eventually coming to find itself on the borders of the Greater Maldrood after the Empire began to splinter. Suffering invasion during the Yuuzhan Vong War, the planet sought out help from the Galactic Alliance when the alien scourge was repelled. As of 137 ABY, the world was ruled by Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire.^[1]
