Allyuen was a remote desert mining world in the Allyuen system of the Anoat sector, located in the Greater Javin of the Outer Rim Territories.

HistoryEdit

Discovered by the Galactic Republic circa 3,000 BBY when scouts spread out from the Corellian Trade Spine, the world was deep in the space controlled by the Brotherhood of Darkness during the New Sith Wars. When the world was claimed by the Republic, it was discovered to have a chromite vein deep under the frozen surface. Establishing mining operations discovered that the vein was not that rich, but desperate miners continued to drain the mines of all available resources.^[1]

Remaining out of the Clone Wars, Allyuen was absorbed into the Galactic Empire as it gathered all of the Republic's holdings.^[1] During the Galactic Civil War, the Empire suspected that the Alliance to Restore the Republic might be based on the world after the Battle of Yavin. The Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Stalker, attached to Darth Vader's Death Squadron, dispatched a Viper probe droid to Allyuen in 3 ABY to search for the hidden Rebel base.^[2]

After the fall of the Empire the world remained neutral until its area of space was claimed by Grand Admiral Mitth'raw'nuruodo during his campaign against the New Republic. As of 137 ABY, the Greater Javin was under the authority of Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire.^[1]

The PC game Star Wars: Rebellion mistakenly places Allyuen in the Churba sector, which is actually located in the Mid Rim.
