The Altar of Promises was located on Ylesia, near Colony One at the base of the Mountains of the Exalted. It was where the t'landa Til performed their sham religious rites. During the Yuuzhan Vong War, Thrackan Sal-Solo offered to construct a temple to Yun-Yammka nearby, because he wondered if the t'landa Til could affect Yuuzhan Vong as well.
