Alvien Squadron was one of three stormtrooper squadrons that made up Desert Sands.

HistoryEdit

When the unit first landed on Tatooine, Alvien squad was assigned with Drax Squadron to search the same quadrant of the desert planet for an escape pod that had jettisoned from a Corellian corvette. After Zeta Squadron followed a trail eventually leading to Mos Eisley, Alvien was ordered to supplement the local detachment by setting up checkpoints at all roads entering the city in search of two droids that had left the escape pod.
