An ambush took place on the planet Suurja between a group of Jedi known as the Revanchists and the invading Mandalorians during the early skirmishes of the Mandalorian Wars. The Revanchists, who did not agree with the Jedi Council's stance of inaction against the Mandalorians, were scouting the Outer Rim Territories for the Galactic Republic. These Jedi's leader, a Jedi Knight known as Revan, left them on Suurja to investigate disturbances on Onderon and its jungle moon, Dxun. Shortly after Revan left, his friend and fellow Knight Alek Squinquargesimus and the other Revanchists were captured by the Mandalorians before Suurja's fourth battle against the Republic. The Revanchists were taken to Flashpoint Station, an old Republic research station which was captured by the Mandalorians.
