Frequent impairments of motor abilities |
Amorphiians were beings indigenous to Amorphia. The motor abilities of Amorphiian citizens were frequently impaired by malfunctions which resulted in a temporary loss of power.
Some Amorphiians sold a brand of mini-transmitter. They were recorded on an instructional cassette provided by the manufacturer, in which they introduced and gave instructions on the creation and use of the mini-transmitter. In addition to being a source of income, the process offered a unique chance for consumers everywhere to meet an Amorphiian. According to the manufacturers, the tendencies of the Amorphiians to shut down was in no way meant to reflect the safety of their product, but rather it should serve as a guarantee of their high standards of long wear and durability.

[edit] Behind the scenes
- Harvey Korman portrayed an Amorphiian in The Star Wars Holiday Special. Like many aspects of the Special, the nature of these beings is not explored in detail. The appearance and behavior of the being strongly indicates it is a malfunctioning droid or cyborg.
- Amorph- in Greek means "shapeless".
