Amp was a clone member of the 77th Air Wing's Sword Squadron. During the Battle of Kelrodo-Ai in the Western Reaches Operation of the Reconquest of the Rim, he flew under Blade Squadron with the call-sign Blade Two. Amp was one of the few survivors of the battle, as well as one of three members of the squadron directly responsible for the destruction of the hypermatter reactor for the Citadel of Axes' shield generator (the others being Starks and Captain Shea Hublin).
