An Old Flame in Need... is a short narrative published in the Shadows of the Empire Sourcebook.
Plot

Imperial Advisor Kren Blista-Vanee is hosting a gala to celebrate the opening night of The Kallea Cycle on Imperial Center. Various Imperial dignitaries, including Grand Admiral Miltin Takel and Lady Comark are present to witness this event. Among the crowd is spice-runner, Wendell Wright-Sims, a dealer that has contracts with many of the Imperial elite. While mingling with his numerous contacts, Wright-Sims spies his old flame, Mayli Weng among the crowd. Wendell attempts to put his charms on the woman, but she is uninterested, much more concerned with networking the wealthy crowd around her. Wendell persists, offering to take her mind off of her worries with a no-strings-attached night together.
